2016年9月17日18日 七色ダム（2016バスオブジャパンクラシック）September 17&18, 2016 Nanairo reservoir ( Japan BASS Nation Classic)

通常ならば、アメリカ行きのチケットを賭けたファイナルトーナメントになるはずだった、今回のクラシック。

The classic tournament as the final tournament might be competed for getting ticket to America.

ところがどっこい、ポイント制のため、今大会で例え優勝したとしても、アメリカへのチケットは取れないという立場。

However if I win the tournament, I can't get the ticket because the standing system built with point system.

でも、せっかくのクラシッククオリファイなので、参加してきましたm(_ _)m

But I participated it with rare qualify for classic.

場所は三重県？七色ダム。

結果的に、行きは10時間、帰りは9時間掛かりました。

The place of tournament was the Nanairo reservoir in the Mie prefecture.

I needed time 10 hours for going lake and 9hours for backing home.

17日 前日プラクティス

初めての七色ダムです。

It's first time to fish in the Nanairo for me.

因みに、ボーターは片岡さん、ホームレイクの１つということもあり、エリアに関しては、完全にお任せです。

Then my boater is Soshi who has the Nanairo as one of his home field, so not to need to select the areas.

魚の状態を見てあげて、五本制限のタックルの範疇で対応しうるリグを模索するプラクティスをしました。

I checked positions and conditions of basses and seek five rigs for using tournament.

なんとなく感じたのは、まだ夏の色が強いけど、少しだけ秋を意識しはじめてるかな、といったところ。

I felt the season is still summer with little autumn.

結果は5バイト3フィッシュ。

深いところはベイトが沢山いて釣れそうでしたが、我にはあんまり向いてなさそうで、コンディションがあんまり。。。

Result of practice, I got five bites and three fishes.

Deep column had a lot of baits but it was not so good for my style. If I caught, the condition was poor...

逆に岩盤に浮いてる魚は、結構コンディションが良い感じでした。

Alternatively, fish in subsurface column looked metabolism.

岬周りや流れ込み周辺など、カレントが利くところに魚が集中してる感じでしたが、スクールという感じはしなかったです。

これが、夏引きずり少しだけ秋、と感じた理由です。

Areas having active current, ex. around point, water flowing and so on, hold active fishes I caught. But I feel these ware not schooling. That's why I felt the season above.

また、浮いてるくせして、ノーウェイトのリグでは無反応で、得意の？ジャークベイトは、デカイのが見に来るくせして止めるとバイトしない、という状況。

我の場合は、重めのネコリグとかフットボールでストンと落としてあげるとフォール中に食う、というパターンしか見つけられませんでした。

I felt Fishes being cruising in subsurface being not interested in no weight rigs( slow falling), reacted for jerking but when stopping the bait fishes ignored jerkbait.

I can find only one pattern that using fast vertical fall with Neko rig or football jigs.

そんな訳で。

気持ちとしてはジャークベイトを見に来たデカイのを取りたいが見切られるからソフトジャークベイトのフルークがメイン。

縦のフォールはフットボールだと根掛る確率が高くなりボーターの邪魔になりそうな事から、直リグとネコリグ。

ほか、深いところ用にキャロライナリグ。

そして、何かの時のために、比較的距離が出せるトップウォーターとして、野良ネズミ。

で組むことにしました。

Therefore,

Mainly my choice was soft plastic jerkbait instead of hard jerkbait,

secondly, Neko rig and Zika rig for vertical falling,

The others were Carolina rig and small topwarter bait called Nora-nezumi.

試合当日

The tournament day

スタート前「はじめに謝っておきます。今日は後ろは釣れません」と片岡さんに言われました。

Soshi, my boater said ' I apologize you at fast, back seater will not able to catch any fishes.' before starting tournament.

個人的には、まぁそれでも良いかなと。

アメリカへの可能性がないこちらに対して、彼は頑張れば取れる位置。

In my opinion, it's not bad because he had possibility to get the ticket for America but I'm not.

逆に、彼が取れる魚は、しっかりと彼が取れるよう、魚をこちらに引っ張らないようにしないとダメかな、と思いました。

Also I thought that I keep in mind not to draw his fish to my lures.

で、彼は得意のチャターベイトを投げます。

こちらはフルークです。

He choices chatter bait, I choice fluke.

で、開始3投目くらいで、たまたま、我のフルークにキーパーかつかつが釣れました。

And I caught just size of keeper accidentally in three casting after starting tournament.

想像以上に船の流し方が速いので、ジャークというより、ストレート引きに反応しました。

His boat control speed was so fast so my action was straight action draw bites.

これは確かに、チャターベイトかスピナーベイトなどの高速に巻ける物で、リアクションを狙うのが良さそうかな、と感じた直後、片岡さんは3バイト1フィッシュ。

Based on my fish, the field condition was much with using chatter bait that I thought, then he got three bites one fish.

ここから、片岡劇場が幕を開けたわけです。

After that the Soshi theater was opened.

国道と県道が閉鎖されるというアナウンスがあったほどの豪雨の中、行くところ行くところ、片岡さんのチャターベイトが火を噴きます。

All of areas of his choice were tetoris for his chatter like a bass volcano !

我はというと。

想像以上にショアに近いボートポジション（竿2本分くらい）とスピードの速さから、正になす術なし！でした。

「後ろには釣れません」とは、こういうことか。と納得。

Me?

Boat position was near by shore and moving speed was too fast, so I can do nothing!

'Back seater will be not able to ...' Convinced.

しかし、クリアウォーターで、この距離でも魚が釣れると言うことと、何故このポジションで魚が反応するのかが、釣りを見ててなんとなく理解できたので、我にとってはかなり収穫ありです。

However it was good experience for me with watching his fishing.

試合中は、しきりに、暫定1位の古沢さんのことを気にしてました。

「深いところの魚は小さいから、深いところ狙ってる人には負けへんと思う。」

「狙ってる魚は、トップウォーターでも釣れちゃうから、古沢さんの得意なアレ（ドラフトウェイカー）やられるのが1番怖いわ」

「（古沢艇を見つけて）あの位置で釣りしてるなら、勝てるかも。（シャローの魚の存在に）気付かんといて！」などなど。

In the time of tournament, he always mind Katsutoshi being first standings now.

9時半位には、多数の入れ替えを実行し、キーパーかつかつ1匹の我を尻目に、700gの魚をポイポイ捨てるという。。。

He culled a lot of fishes not to care of me having only a small fish...

その後は、雨が止んだタイミングで、1500クラスを求めて上流に行き、ジャークベイトにて800gの魚を釣って入れ替え。

After that, we moved up to back water for aiming 4 pounder, but he caught just two pounder with jerkbait.

結果的にこれが彼の最後の魚になって、帰着。

As a result the jerkbait fish was last fish and weight inn.

結果は、このぶっちぎり様。。。

Result. He punched out with incredible margins.

そして、アメリカへのチケットもゲット。

いやいや、おめでとうございましたm(_ _)m

And he got the ticket for America!

本音を言えば、もうちっと、まともに釣りがしたかったっす^^;

が！バスオブメンバーとの交流はかけがえのない時間でした! 

To be honest, I wanna do fishing seriously...

Talk with competitors was priceless!
